Airwave Service - Management Information |
Every call made on the Airwave service generates a data record of that activity. |
Under the terms of their contract MMO2 are required to provide police forces with call data records showing these activities. This information is provided in CSV (comma separated value) format contained on a CD-ROM in the form of six different files for each day of the month which is the contained on each CD-ROM. |
Effectively this is an enormous quantity of Raw Data which requires conversion to a format which is user friendly before the evaluation of performance can be undertaken. |
David Barnfather Associates Ltd has extensive experience in the conversion and analysis of this data and are able to offer a conversion service providing the output of this data in Microsoft Access 2000 and in a graphical format presented in Microsoft Excel 2000 format for analysis. This service is currently provided to several UK police forces. |
